뉴스노믹스 전상천 기자 | 경기도는 외국인 계절근로자의 심리적 부담을 완화하고 정서적 안정을 지원하기 위해 지난 13일 파주시를 시작으로 10월까지 심리상담 프로그램을 시범 운영한다고 16일 밝혔다. 그동안 외국인 계절근로자를 대상으로 찾아가는 근로환경 상담, 한국어 교육, 한국문화 체험 등은 이뤄졌지만, 심리상담을 정식 프로그램으로 편성한 것은 이번이 처음이다. 경기도는 이번 시범사업을 선도적으로 추진해 근로자의 정서적 안정과 건강한 근무 환경을 뒷받침한다는 계획이다. 지원대상은 파주·안성·여주·연천 등 4개 시군에서 공공형으로 운영 중인 외국인 계절근로자 89명이다. 국가별로는 △라오스 45명(안성·파주) △캄보디아 22명(여주) △베트남 22명(연천) 중 희망자를 대상으로 한다. 심리상담은 근로자 휴무일을 활용해 집단 대면 상담 방식(회기당 2시간 이내, 5명 내외)으로 진행되며, 상담 전문가, 통역사, 경기도농촌인력지원센터 등이 공동형 숙소를 직접 찾아가 지원한다. 프로그램은 총 4주차 과정으로, 감정카드·도화지·핸드크림 등 소도구를 활용한 감정 탐색과 표현 연습을 통해 집단 속에서 긍정적 정서를 경험하고 상호작용을 강화할 수 있도록 구성했다. 아울러

뉴스노믹스 전상천 기자 | 경기도는 3일 의정부시 경기도이민사회통합지원센터에서 ‘경기도 이주민의 공공서비스 이용 실태조사’ 최종보고회를 열고, 이주민 공공서비스 접근성 개선방안을 논의했다. 앞서 도는 지난 5~6월 도내 이주민 494명을 대상으로 설문조사를, 이주민·지원단체 관계자·공공기관 종사자 20명을 대상으로 심층 면접을 진행했으며, 7월 중간보고회를 통해 주요 실태를 발표했다. 조사 결과, 이주민들은 복잡한 행정 서류(61.5%), 부족한 다국어 서비스로 인한 의사소통 문제(57.2%), 정보 부족(50.2%) 등으로 공공서비스 이용에 고충을 겪고 있었다. 온라인 서비스 회원가입 과정에서의 장벽과 이주민에 대한 차별 경험도 개선이 필요한 과제로 지적됐다. 실태조사와 연구를 진행한 경기도이민사회통합지원센터는 이를 토대로 공공서비스 개선을 위한 실행 과제를 제시했다. 연구책임자인 오경석 대표는 “온라인 본인인증, 공공 앱 접근, 금융서비스 이용 시 발생하는 이주민 배제를 막기 위해 다국어 지원과 대체 인증수단을 마련해야 한다”며 “정책 설계 단계부터 이주민 상황을 반영해 자국민 중심 행정 시스템의 한계를 보완해야 한다”고 강조했다. 또한 언어 장벽 해소를
