Tencent founder and CEO, Pony Ma, are the biggest loser in the market with worth of $2.5 billion to $24.4

billion. Alibaba founder Jack Ma lost $1.2 billion brought his net worth down to $29 billion, Alibaba shares fell 13% on the Nasdaq and 11% in Hong Kong mentioned by Bloomberg.

Chinese richest persons are facing the biggest drop in their collective wealth in decades over the past year, as the country’s stock markets thrust quickly, and the economy slowed down in large part due to Beijing’s

zero-tolerance policy and “common prosperity” agenda toward Covid-19 since 2021.

11일 블룸버그는 '전세계 자산 감소 억만장자'를 발표하며 이중 가장 부유한 중국 재벌은 시진핑(習近平) 국가주석의 집권으로 시진핑의 하향식 경제 관리 방식으로 인해 중국 경제의 회복 전망에 대한 두려움이 촉발된 후 7일 하루 만에 127억 달러의 가치를 잃었다고 발표했다.

특히 텐센트(Tencent) 설립자이자 CEO인 마화텅(Pony Ma)은 7일 하루 동안만 25억달러 가치를 잃어 244억달러로 시장에서 가장 큰 손실을 입었다. 알리바바 창업자 마윈은 12억 달러의 손실을 입었고 순자산은 290억 달러로 떨어졌다. 특히 이 두 기업 CEO들의 자산은 지난 한 해 동안 반토막이 나 마화텅 텐센트 회장은 10일(현지시간) 현재 자산이 52% 감소해 234억달러, 마윈 알리바바 전 회장은 50% 줄어든 206억달러로 집계됐다.

투자자들은 지난 10월 25일  "리창, 자오러지, 왕후닝, 차이치, 딩쉐샹, 리시 등 중국 최고지도부인 중앙정치국 상무위원 6명을 포함한 3선 임기를 시작한 시 주석의 정책 방향인 중국 당국의 빅테크(대형 정보기술기업) 규제, '제로 코로나' 정책 등 '공동 번영' 의제를 향한 추가 조치로 소비 심리 위축이 계속될 것으로 우려하고 있다"며 "기업, 투자자, 제조업체는 투자와 이익에 대해 고민하고, 금융시장을 휘젓고 있는 불확실성에 걱정하고 있다"고 비즈니스 인사이더에 말했다.
