뉴스노믹스 전상천 기자 | 비즈토크 부속기관 다문화인재개발원(원장·이혜숙)은 ‘2024 결혼이주여성 자립을 위한 교육프로그램 선호도’에 대한 설문조사의 주요 결과를 6일 발표했다. 본 조사는 국내거주 결혼이주여성 800여 명을 대상으로 했고 이 중 297명이 응답했다. 응답자의 국적은 중국, 일본, 베트남, 태국, 스리랑카, 라오스, 인도네시아 등 15개국이다. 먼저 결혼이주여성이 ‘한국에서 받은 교육프로그램 중 가장 기억에 남은 것은 무엇인지’라는 질문에 대한 답변 중 1위는 통번역사 양성과정으로 응답자의 27%를 차지했다. 2위로는 한국어교육(25%), 3위는 이중언어강사 자격과정(19.6%), 그리고 다문화이해관련 교육이 6.8%로 그 뒤를 이었다. 해당 교육이 가장 기억에 남았던 이유로는 ‘취업에 도움이 되거나 업무능력을 향상시킬 수 있었기 때문’이라는 답변이 1위(11.7%)다. 이어 ‘재미있고 흥미로워서’라는 답변이 2위(5.8%), ‘전문지식을 배울 수 있었기 때문’이라는 답변이 3위(3.9%)로 나타났다. ‘한국에 와서 받았던 교육 중에 취업 활동에 가장 도움이 됐던 것은 무엇인지’라는 질문에서도 1위는 통번역사 자격관련 교육(31.3%), 2
뉴스노믹스 전상천 기자 | R&D 분야 외국인 고급 인력들이 한국에 취업한 주요 이유는 주거와 경력개발 때문으로 조사됐다. 한국직업능력연구원(원장·고혜원)은 31일 KRIVET Issue Brief 295호로 '국내 R&D 분야 외국인 고급 인력의 첨단분야 참여 실태와 정주 여건 분석'를 발표했다. 국가과학기술인력개발원 과학기술인 교육플랫폼 DB 내 국내 외국인 고급 인력 1500명(R&D 분야 외국인 재직자 500명 및 이공계열 외국인 대학원생 1000명)을 대상으로 한국직업능력연구원과 국가과학기술인력개발원이 공동 조사 실시 후 데이터를 분석한 결과다. 주요 분석 결과(KRIVET Issue Brief 295호 참조)는 다음과 같다.
