At least, 1 girl student killed and 7 other Injured including teacher by a crucial act of a police constable on
duty at the Sangota public school in Swat valley, Pakistan on Wednesday May 17, 2023.
The incident happened when innocent students were preparing to depart from the school in their vehicles.
Suddenly, Alarm Khan the appointed constable at the Sangota Public school opened fires on students
‘without no reason.’
According to Shafiullah Gandapur the District Police Officer (DPO), “the constable is identified as Alam Khan,
was arrested immediately at the point of incident and the first information report (FIR) was registered against
the accused and a special investigation team has been appointed to investigate the further matters.”
“I assure everyone that strict legal punishment will be given to the culprit” said Gandapur.
The firing caused panic and chaos among students, teachers and nearby residents.
The deceased and injured were taken to Saidu Sharif Teaching hospital for medical treatment and an emer-
gency has been imposed at the facility.
Roma, nine years old girl is killed in the cruelty act and two of the students are in the critical condition.
