singer Lee ji-eun known as IU of Hotel Del Luna is on hot issues now a days.
Actors Lee Jong Suk and IU are the latest couple 2023 to confirm their dating speculations and reportedly
celebrated Christmas together in Japan. It is also said that two of them have been dating for four months.
“Lee Jong Suk and IU recently progressed from being close acquaintances into being a couple, and they are maintaining a serious relationship.” An official statement by Lee’s agency High Zium Studio said.
Additionally, IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment also commented afterwards, “IU and Lee Jong Suk recently
progressed from being close acquaintances into a good relationship. We ask for the warm reception of fans.”
Lee and IU first met at the music TV show “Inkigayo” on SBS as hosts 10 years ago. They have been close
colleagues for years, and reportedly started dating four months ago.
Recently, on the stage of MBC Drama Awards, held on Friday December 30, 2023, actor Lee won the grand
prize for his role in the crime thriller “Big Mouth,” accepted in his speech, "I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for always being awesome. And that I have liked you for a very long time, and that I respect you.”
After his acceptance speech the rumors sparks around the world.
In 2005, actor Lee Jong Suk debuted as a runway model turned to actor. Lee's breakthrough role was “School 2013” of year 2012. He is also well known for his roles in “I Can Hear Your Voice” (2013), “Doctor Stranger”
(2014), “Pinocchio” (2014), “W” (2016), “While You Were Sleeping” (2017), “Romance Is a Bonus Book” (2019),
and “Big Mouth”(2022).
“Decibel” is his recent action film with Cha Eun-woo, Kim Rae-won and Lee Min-ki.
Actor-singer IU started her career at the age of fifteen with her first extended play (EP) “Lost and Found” in
2008, then established herself as an iconic female singer with her hit songs “Good Day,”(2010) “Modern Times” (2013),and “Palette”(2017).
As an actor,IU has given her best in the hit series such as drama “Dream “The Producers” (2015), “My Mister” (2018) and “Hotel del Luna” (2019).
“Broker” is her recent Cannes-winning Korean drama film directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda.
