
Newsnomics AJAY ANGELINA reporter | An Indian army soldier (jawan) of Border Security Force (BSF), accidently crossed over to the Pakistani side on Wednesday December 8, in the Punjab sector, has been captured by Pakistan Rangers is handed over to India safely.
BSF Inspector General, Punjab Frontier, Asif Jalal on Thursday said, “During zero line checking along the India-Pakistan international border near BSF post G G Base in Abohar sector, one of Jawan crossed over to the other side inadvertently due to dense fog around 6.30 am.” He is safely handed over to the BSF during a flag meeting with Pakistan Rangers at 1:50pm.”
This is the second cident in the Abohar sector of Punjab when an Indian army soldier (Jawan) has entered over the other side while undertaking zero line checking along the India-Pakistan International Border (IB) last week on December 1.
