뉴스노믹스 전상천 기자 | 한류 열풍속에 해외에서 K패션에 대한 선호도가 높아지고 있는 가운데 동남아시아에서 현지 이커머스 플랫폼에 입점한 K패션 브랜드에 대한 수요가 눈에 띄게 늘고 있어 주목된다. 동남아와 대만 최대의 이커머스 플랫폼 쇼피코리아(Shopee, 지사장·권윤아)는 지난해 K패션 주문량이 동남아 및 대만 마켓에 한국 셀러들이 진출하기 시작한 2019년 대비, 10배 이상 증가했다고 22일 밝혔다. 동남아 패션 시장에서 기능성과 현지 브랜드 인지도를 구축해 맹활약을 펼치고 있는 한국 셀러들이 늘고 있다. 코자의 디자이너 백 브랜드 ‘스탠드오일’은 한류 스타들이 착용했던 가방으로, 출시 전부터 현지에서 큰 화제를 모은 브랜드다. 스탠드오일은 올해 2월 쇼피 태국에 입점해 브랜드 인지도를 업고 3개월 만에 주문량이 8배 증가하는 가시적인 성과를 거뒀다. 가파른 성장세에 힘입어 최근에는 현지 마켓 창고에 보관부터 배송, 재고 관리까지 가능한 현지 풀필먼트 서비스인 SBS(Service by Shopee)도 준비 중이다. 이외에도 캐주얼 브랜드 ‘커버낫’은 쇼피에 입점해 매출이 연평균 86% 상승했다. 브랜드뿐만 아니라 리셀러들의 활약도 눈여겨볼 만하다
